For my second project in APOLLO I made two infographic posters. One with a facts and some pictures while the second one has more facts about net neutrality. The most complicated part about my projects was collecting information about net neutrality and going farther into perspective. Perspective is key in this project because we had to base our project around it. My first poster I chose against net neutrality or anti net neutrality. I chose this because choosing against net neutrality you are saying, you want everything to be the same no fast lanes or slow lanes all the same speeds for everyone. If you chose you are for net neutrality, then you are for paying more for faster internet speeds and some networks not working right for some people, or you are okay with having slow lanes for internet. Let me know what you think about net neutrality.
Definition
The idea, principle, or requirement that Internet service providers should or must treat all Internet data as the same regardless of its kind, source, or destination… "a philosophical contest that's being fought under the banner of "net neutrality," a slogan that inspires rhetorical devotion but eludes precise definition. Broadly, it means everything on the Internet should be equally accessible—that the Internet should be a place where great ideas compete on equal terms with big money".— Sarah Rabil

Net neutrality is a big concern in our current year and past. This is rapidly increasing everyday due to some laws and big companies such as Netflix and soon youtube. Net neutrality will affect let's say Google, Google has 5.6 billion searches a day and has the answer to everything, and if net neutrality gets worse there speeds will slow down. Now there is no official law for Net Neutrality but is still a huge deal. The official “law” is “Net neutrality law refers to laws and regulations which enforce the principle of net neutrality”. And now the government is slowing down what we have now and calling them “slow lanes” and having “fast lanes”.Fast lanes are for richer people who can afford paying extra money for faster internet speeds. Netflix is one of the big companies that will be slowing down because they are trying to have people pay extra for faster speeds and leaving the people who can’t afford it with slower speeds. Net neutrality is not fair because they should make everything as much for everyone not just the people who can afford it. Net neutrality has two sides for it and against it. If you are for net neutrality you want fast and slow lanes and over pricing internet speeds. And against net neutrality would be everyone's the same no fast nor slow lanes for people to pay extra or felt left out.
My second infographic has all the facts about net neutrality. These facts are all up to date and get to the point of net neutrality. I chose to do against net neutrality, but with most of these facts are against it there are some facts that you could put towards for net neutrality. These infographics have a lot of information in them and can help persuade someone to go against net neutrality. Or if you want to learn more about it or just want to tell people about it these are some posters to share with them.
